Hi there! I'm Nicole, the face and mind behind OffBeat beauty & body piercing.

I started my career in the beauty industry back in 2011 and instantly found a love for it, but I always had a huge interest in body piercings growing up and finally decided to add body piercing to my list of qualifications in 2016.

Without an already established Body Piercing business in Griffith, it was hard to know where to start.

 

After doing plenty of searching online, I found a company that offered what I was looking for and completed my training in Maintaining Infection Control Standards and a Certificate in Body Piercing. It was amazing, and a little too good to be true, leaving out a lot of crucial elements to the piercing industry that I was not at all aware of back then.

 

Taking a short break to become a Mum, I continued to search around for my next step and where to go from there!

I found a nearby studio that was willing to take me in and I began actively piercing and gaining experience, realising that opening my own business was really the only way to continue to learn and grow.

 

I began renting a space where I could bring OffBeat beauty & body piercing to life and continued researching and reading all the piercing related information I could find to be sure I was indeed doing the best I possibly could be.

I found the right people to be learning from and began to make necessary changes to benefit myself, my clients and my business and became a member of the AUPP.

I have learnt so much and grown so much as both a piercer and business owner, and I believe it shows in our work.

We hold ourselves to a very high standard, put in the extra work and deliver quality in every aspect of running this business.

 

OffBeat beauty & body piercing is my baby and I will always strive for it to be the best, produce the best and continue to grow to benefit everyone that walks through our doors!
